Individual Women’s and Men’s Category- Awards presented to the top winner in each weight class. Weigh in begin at 6:45 a.m. Events and location subject to change. Participants may choose to compete in a higher weight class but cannot compete in a lower weight class.
Women’s weight categories
- Lightweight- 140 lbs. & below (LWW)
- Middleweight- 141-175 lbs. (MWW)
- Heavyweight- 175 lbs. & up (HWW)
In the event less than 4 per weight class signed up for LWW -and MWW the classes will combine and do middle weight numbers.
Men’s weight categories
- Lightweight- 170 lbs. & below (LWM)
- Middleweight- 171-210 lbs. (MWM)
- Heavyweight- 211-240 lbs.(HWM)
- Super Heavy Weight- 240 lbss & up (SHWM)
In the event less than 4 per weight class are signed up for each class HWM and SHWM will combine and/or LWM -and MWM will combine.
Scoring
Onsite judges call will be final. Judges will determine when participant has completed the event correctly. Judges will determine when or if a participant will stop the competition due to safety concerns.
Points will be assigned based on the number of participants in each weight class. For example, if there are eight (8) participants in a weight class, each event will be worth eight (8) points for that weight class. The participant in first place will receive eight points for that event, second will receive 7, third will receive 6 and so on. If there is a tie, the participants will split the points. For example, if two participants get the same amount on the deadlift and its enough for 4rd place, they will split the six points and receive three points each.
In the event of a tie it will be a 45lb bumper for men each hand pinch grip for max time(head to head) and 25lb bumper for women
Deadlift ladder: On command GO athlete will complete implements in the following order:
- Trap bar (hex bar/ACFT deadlift) for 3 reps
- Barbell for 2 reps
- Axle bar for as many reps as possible
- Time limit: 60 seconds
- Athlete must wait for the command “down” on each rep.
- Allowed: Belts, straps, knee & elbow sleeves, chalk
- Not allowed: suits, briefs, tacky/tacky towel, knee wraps (no straps on trap bar)
- Women: In order trap bar/barbell/axle
- LWW: 185/185 /225
- MWW: 205/205/250
- HWW: 225/225/275
- Men: In order trap bar/barbell/axle
- LWM: 315/315/375
- MWM: 340/335/425
- HWM: 375/365/475
- SHWM: 405/405/525
Sandbag toss: Athlete will start with hands on implement (yoke), 10ft away from sandbags. On command GO, athlete will begin tossing sandbag over bar starting with lightest to heaviest. Fastest time wins. If athlete is unable to clear all 6 bags the last bag successfully thrown over bar will count. Fastest time wins
- Time limit: 90 second
As many attempts as you want - Bags weights: 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40
- Women: 10ft bar
- Men: 13ft bar
Log Clean & Press for Reps: Athlete will start over the log standing up. On the command GO, he/she will clean and press the log for max reps. Athlete’s must wait for the command “down” for rep to count (setting the log down on crash pads after each rep) athlete will receive a “no rep” if dropped over head, or unable to control log back down before dropping onto crash pads
- Time limit: 90 seconds
- Allowed: wrist wraps, elbow/knee sleeves, belts, grip shirts, chalk
- Not allowed: tacky/tacky towel
- LWW: 100 lbs.
MWW: 110 lbs.
HWW: 120 lbs.
LWM: 155 lbs.
MWM: 180 lbs.
HWM: 205 lbs.
SHWM: 240 lbs.
Sandbag over yoke medley: Athlete will start under yoke (still sitting on the floor) on the command GO athlete will stand up with yoke, carrying it down 50ft, once the entire yoke is across the line the athlete will then sprint back to the baseline picking up the sandbag and carrying it to the yoke where it must be loaded over the bar. Fastest time wins.
- Time limit: 60 seconds
- Allowed: knee/elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, belts, chalk.
- Not allowed: suits, tacky, sliding the yoke (athlete will be penalized 2second for each slide of more than 4 feet)
